Equipment adds an interesting edge to your Pilates workout. Equipment, or apparatus, like a Cadillac, Reformer, or Wunda Chair adds resistance to your practise. This resistance can make the exercise more difficult or surprisingly easier. Consequently, anyone from extremely fit clients to clients going through rehab can benefit from adding these modalities to their workouts. Other props such as circles, stability balls, flexbands, small sponge balls etc. can be added to an apparatus or mat class to add greater variety, isolate muscle recruitment, or challenge coordination. Many of these props can be used to supplement your home practise.
